To all TSTC students and employees via email and TSTC Portal
Dear Students & Employees of TSTC-
We have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation, reviewing plans, and making preparations to ensure that we are doing everything we can to keep our TSTC community safe. Toward that end, we are extending spring break for all TSTC campuses. Face-to-face classes will resume on March 30. Online classes will continue as originally scheduled.
All other functions of the college will remain open. The additional weeks of spring break provides TSTC the opportunity to help minimize the risk of spreading of the coronavirus and continue safety and preventative protocols.
At this time, there are no confirmed or suspected cases of the virus among the TSTC community. However, we will continuously monitor this evolving situation and adjust our plans as conditions require. Updates will be promptly announced via email and posted in our Portal.
Please monitor your TSTC email and/or the Portal often so you can remain in the loop on the latest news.
My sincerest appreciation for your cooperation and commitment to safety during this time.
Chancellor & CEO

Dear TSTC family,
During the next hour, TSTC will make a public announcement regarding the extension of spring break through March 29. Our current intentions are that face-to-face classes will resume on March 30. However, we will spend the meantime monitoring the situation and react accordingly. For additional information, continue to read below for what this means for you.
Online learning will continue as scheduled.
Aside from helping to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, the extra time provides us with the opportunity to transition courses online or to other alternative methods of delivery. Our goal is to minimize the disruption of the coursework for our students as we near the end of the semester.
Therefore, on Monday, March 16, staff employees will continue to operate under normal business hours. In the coming days we will be working on alternative work opportunities, where applicable.
The COVID-19 situation is continuously evolving, so we will frequently communicate updates to our plans. Please check email and the TSTC Portal often for the latest information. You can also visit tstc.edu/coronavirus where we will be posting an FAQ to help answer your questions.
Thank you for your continued cooperation during this time and together we will work through this.
