M - F: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Hotel TaxTSTC employees are exempt from paying the Texas State hotel occupancy tax; however, TSTC employees are not exempt from paying the county or municipal city hotel occupancy taxes. These taxes may vary from city to city. TSTC employees are also not exempt from paying state hotel occupancy taxes in other states. TSTC may not reimburse an employee for a state hotel occupancy tax charged by a commercial lodging establishment if the employee fails to present a properly completed Texas Hotel Occupancy Tax Exemption Certificate to the establishment. |
