Quality Enhancement Plan and Critical Thinking Workshops

Every ten years, TSTC Harlingen is required to renew its accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).  This process requires the development of a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), a course of action to improve a particular aspect of student learning.  TSTC's QEP is designed to enhance student's critical thinking which is defined as the ability to use higher order thinking skills to make informed decisions.  Our goal is to have a critical thinking component embedded in every course and workshop offered at the college to assist students to become productive critical thinkers.
