Our mission

The Purchasing Department supports the mission of the College and the Business Services Division in it's commitment to excellence in education and academic achievements by procuring all goods and services to sustain, foster, and provide logistical support for the goals and needs of the College.

As an agency and Higher Education Institution of the State of Texas, we are bound by the laws of the State of Texas and the rules and regulations of the General Services Commission. Purchasing has the responsibility and sole authority to obligate funds for procurement in compliance with applicable state and federal laws and in accordance with established federal, state and college regulations.
