Sat., Sun.: Closed Crime StatisticsThe Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, originally known as the Student Right-to-Know & Campus Security Act, is a federal law that requires colleges and universities to publish an annual report that contains data related to reports of crimes occurring on campus, at off campus college facilities, residence halls and public property immediately adjacent to the campus. In addition, this report identifies specific policy statements. It is the policy of Texas State Technical College Harlingen to fully comply with the federal mandates of the Clery Act by collecting and furnishing the Campus Crime Statistics (statistics are calculated on a calendar year basis).
The TSTC Police Department maintains a crime log with summary information about crimes reported to the college police. To view the crime log come by the college police department located at the Auxiliary Services Building (Bldg. A) from 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday. To also comply with the federal mandates of the Clery Act, a link is being provided to the Texas department of Public Safety Crime Records Service Sex Offender Registration website:
