Mathematics,Physics and Engineering
The Department of Mathematics, Physics and Engineering teaches college-level, transferable Mathematics, Physics and Engineering courses such as College Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus I, Calculus II, Statistics, Statics and Math for Liberal Arts. The department also offers College Physics I and II and Calculus-based University Physics I and II. TSTC - Harlingen certificate-seeking students take Industrial Mathematics, Technical Mathematics and Business Mathematics. The department attracts students aspiring to be future science and engineering majors. In addition, the department awards Associate of Science Degrees in Mathematics, Physics and Engineering.
