Go Mustangs! My name is Cindy Waddle and I am an admissions advisor. I understand that the transition to college can be overwhelming at times but my goal is to help you have a smooth transition to college. I graduated from The University of Houston in 2007 with a B.A in Communications with an emphasis in Advertising and a minor in Psychology. I’m a proud Texas and valley native. When I’m not out at the high schools, I enjoy relaxing on the beach, bike riding and photography. I look forward to helping you become a future MUSTANG! Hello! I’m Yvette Olivarez and I am an Admissions Advisor. I am here to help you with the admissions process and to make your transition into TSTC as smooth as possible. I was born and raised in Houston but have lived in the Rio Grande Valley for almost 10 years. I have a great history with TSTC, since I was once Miss TSTC and also graduated from the school before continuing on to get my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas-Brownsville. There are many great opportunities here at TSTC and many new exciting things happening that I am confident there is something for everyone. I am ready to help and answer any questions you may have.

Howdy! 
My name is Lorena Yvette Garza, but everyone just calls me Yvette, and I’m one of the admissions advisors that travel around the Rio Grande Valley helping students to find their way to Texas State Technical College. I hail from the big city of Raymondville, Texas and graduated from high school there in 2002, before continuing my education at the University of Texas-Pan American where I received my B.A. in Journalism- Public Relations/Advertising with an outside concentration in Marketing. My family has a long history with TSTC, dating back to when the college was still known as TSTI. Seeing what getting their education here at TSTC has done for my family, I have a passion to make sure that students know that whatever they want to do in their lives, TSTC is here to either give them the foundation to go on to a larger educational opportunities or to get a well-rounded education in a technical program that will help shape the rest of their lives. Anything I can do to help y’all, let me know.

 Hello, my name is Belinda Muñoz! I am an Admissions Advisor & Tour Coordinator in the College Information Office. I am here to assist you through the admissions process and get you ready for a life changing experience which will prepare you for your future endeavors! I also coordinate campus tours for high schools and personal tours for prospective students. Come and get a first view of what Texas State Technical College Harlingen has to offer! You’ll be impressed! I am a 2008 graduate from Texas State Technical College Harlingen. I earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in the Education/Training program. I am currently a full time college student pursuing my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. I also have a desire to continue my education and apply for a Master’s program. My goal is to continue assisting students in their college career and provide exceptional customer service!
