The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) is a federal program funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Migrant Education. Since its inception at Texas State Technical College, HEP continues to successfully prepare and graduate students from its program.

The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) at Texas State Technical College is located on campus and is ideally situated to provide its students with vast amounts of information and knowledge. Its location also serves to provide students with a first-hand insight regarding campus-life and its diversity.

The goal of HEP is to help its students obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma and subsequently gain employment or be placed in an institution of higher education (college, university, vocational or technical school, or training program).

For more information, please contact HEP at (956) 364-4505.

Texas State Technical College does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, or disability in employment or the provision of services.
