Services:

The TSTC Health Clinic offers limited health care to students and staff members. The services include: administering a selection of over-the-counter medication, rendering first aid for minor wound care, free health screenings, and providing supportive counseling regarding your personal health matters. If you are required to see a physician, you will be referred to your private physician. If you do not have a physician, you will be referred to a local physician in the Harlingen area.

 

Immunization Vaccinations:

Tuberculosis - $5.00 fee

Bacterial Meningitis - $85.00 fee

Tuberculosis vaccinations are administered on Monday or Tuesday

Bacterial Meningitis vaccinations are administered Monday - Friday

 

Student Insurance Plan:

TSTC Health Services offers a low-cost plan that provides limited medical coverage in the event of an illness or accident through Macori Administration.

Accident Only - $13.00 per semester

Accident & Sickness - $45.00 per semester

This policy may not cover any pre-existing medical conditions

Medical Equipment Loaning:

A wheelchair or crutches are available to students and staff members on a temporary basis if an ankle or knee sprain has occurred on campus and you are unable to walk.

 

Medical Emergency Fees:

In the case of an emergency, all students and staff are responsible for any medical fees that occur. This may include ambulance transfers, hospitalizations, emergency room visits, or medical facilities.
