Approval Levels

Board of Regents’ approval for budget changes is required for the following:

1.        Transfer between appropriation or funds groups

2.       Increase Fund Group Budget $250,000 or More

3.       Facility Budget $500,000 or More

Final approval is delegated to the Chancellor for changes resulting in any of the following:

1.       Facility Budget $250,000 or Greater and Less Than $500,000

2.       Increase Fund Group Budget More Than $100,000 and Less Than $250,000

3.       Increase Permanent Positions

Final approval is delegated to the President for changes resulting in any of the following:

1.        Change Within Appropriation or Local Funds

2.       Increase Temporary Positions

3.       Restricted/Designated Grants &  Contracts

4.       Budget Reductions

5.       Carry Forward From Prior Year

6.       Facility Budget Less Than $250,000

7.       Increase Fund Group Budget Less Than Or Equal to $100,000
