OBJECTIVES:

Goal 1: Operate and maintain the TSTC Harlingen Center for P-16 Science & Math Education.

Objectives:

1. Develop and implement educational programs and activities around permanent and temporary exhibits

2. Develop and implement an online training center for educators, parents, and students that supports enhancement of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics continued learning.

3.  Assure a high quality workforce of staff and volunteers

4. Increase the community impact of Center for P-16 Science & Mathe Education at the local, state, and regional levels.

Goal 2: Be a STEM resource for delivery of educational outreach programs and professional development for teachers, educators, and students in our service delivery area.

Objectives:

1. Expand existing Center for Science & Math Education educational outreach programs

2. Design, devlop, implement, and evaluate new education programs

3. Capitalize on new/emerging technologies for delivery and management of outreach programs

4. Implement formal evaluation and data gathering process for current and future outreach programs

5. Design, develop, and implement STEM based professional development programs for teacher and educators in our service delivery area

Goal 3: Establish and maintain business and industry partnerships that support ongoing operations, educational outreach programs, and future capital needs.

1. Develop a local base of funding support for the TSTC Harlingen Center for P-16 Science & Math Education

2. Maintain and grow regional base of funding support for the TSTC Harlingen Center for P-16 Science & Math Education

3. Identify appropriate funding through local, state, and federal funding agencies
