CHIQUITOS MATH CAMP The goal of this Chiquitos Math Camp is to give elementary students a basic foundation for the skills necessary to succeed in pre-algebra classes.; it is for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders only. This includes those students who have successfully passed 2nd grade. Verification of future enrollment in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade is mandatory. Students will receive a workbook, notebook and pencils. No other materials are required. Parents should drop off children in the classroom and pick them up promptly on time. Seating is limited to the first 30 students. NO EXCEPTIONS! Part I Monday - Thursday 1:00 - 2:50 P.M. at Bldg B Prerequiste: Child MUST have completed 2nd grade and know how to add and subtract. This topic session will cover: Introduction to Integers, Exponents, Order of Operations, Variables and Expressions Applications. Part II Monday - Thursday 3:00 - 4:50 P.M. at Bldg B. Prerequisite Child MUST have completed 3rd grade and know how to add, subtract, multiply and divide or attended Chiquitos Part I.
