Financial Literacy
Do you face the challenges of balancing your checkbook, using a credit card too often or deciding how to juggle paying debts? Money management to avoid outspending your income is not simple.
And, it is not impossible.
There are answers to your questions or the questions your parents might raise. We can assist you with finding and using resources to reasonably afford a college education without too much budget stress.
The Financial Literacy Program offers information about funding sources – grants, scholarships, loans – and planning skills to address each individual’s personal financial situation. Maybe the timely use of a credit card is an efficient strategy based upon your particular circumstances. Maybe you can pay for part of your college expenses but you require at least some partial aid to purchase textbooks. Maybe you could use a little extra money for travel expenses due to rising fuel costs. Maybe you should apply for an emergency loan to quickly pay for tuition and then gradually repay the loan to stay in school – and stay on schedule toward graduation and a career.
This is an opportunity to learn more about smart money moves beneficial for you and probably your family. We encourage you to study financial options and learn how to make effective decisions to stretch your dollars and cents.
We are confident that you can discover ways to economically achieve a diploma!
