College Goal Sunday
Texas State Technical College Harlingen will be one of the sites for a nationwide initiative to assist prospective college students and returning college students with filling out applications for financial aid. "College Goal Sunday" will be held at the Learning Resource Center (located along Loop 499) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2012. There is no fee for this workshop! Volunteers will assist students and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Participants will be eligible for a drawing to win $250 toward textbooks. Bring all 2011 tax documents for the student (if under age 24) and parents; plus, bring non-tax information related to child support, veteran's benefits, current bank statements, and business or investment records.
